The legendary SP(R) 5 has been a mainstay enclosure for more than two decades. Peavey's engineering team has completely redesigned this new SP(R) 5 making it lighter weight and more robust sounding than ever. This two-way, full-range enclosure will easily handle 800 watts of program power and peaks up to 1600 watts. Featuring a 15 inch Scorpion(R) Plus woofer with field-replaceable basket, the SP(R) 5 delivers plenty of bone-crushing bottom end while the exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide(TM) technology dramatically reduces horn distortion offering a much clearer sound that aims sound directly at the audience, not over their heads. Constructed of birch ply with carpet covering, the SP(R) 5 is ready for just about any road gig.

The new Peavey SP(R) 4 speaker has an ingenious 3-way design that improves low-end performance and produces clearer sound in the high frequency range. This quasi three-way enclosure has two 15 inch Peavey Black Widow(R) speakers capable of handling up to 4000 watts peak power and have field replaceable baskets for quick, easy repair. Kudos to Peavey engineers for designing a much more efficient crossover that directs low frequencies to both woofers while limiting midrange frequencies to only the top woofer. Upper-mids and high frequencies are handled by an RX(TM)22 titanium driver that is ferrofluid cooled for maximum tweeter performance and longevity. Peavey's exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide(TM) technology actually reduces horn distortion and aims sound directly at the audience, not over their heads. Rugged 9-ply baltic birch construction, utilizing extensive internal bracing produces tighter bass response while significantly reducing the cabinet weight. Finished in a durable thick black carpet the SP(R) 4 has heavy-duty handles and kick back wheels for easy transportation. Check out the new SP(R) 4 enclosures. We think you'll agree they're awesome.

The QW(TM) 218 incorporates two of the new extra-high power Low Rider(TM) 18" woofers and a new compact cabinet design. The QW 218 is a direct radiator subwoofer designed specifically for the high-end pro audio user. The Low Rider 18" driver is a milestone in high-power subwoofer design. An incredible 3200 Watt program rating and extra-long cone excursion come together to produce amazing new levels of clean, deep bass. This makes the QW 218 a superior choice for the bottom end of any high powered sound system. The QW 218 is unusually compact for its power handling, SPL output, distortion performance and bass extension. This is made possible by special characteristics designed into the Low Rider woofer. The QW 218 is well braced and very stiff, as internal pressures produced by the Low Rider woofer can be very high. The vent design integrated into the enclosure includes a vertical brace to further increase enclosure stiffness. The QW 218 vent's large area and long path length allow for a large volume of air to move with very low resistance. This is important due to the massive air flow volumes that the Low Rider woofer can produce.

It is fitted with "luggage" type trolley wheels and extendible handle for portability. Several configurations are available as standard which can be expanded with the addition of UHF radio microphone receiver or MP3 recorder/player. The design incorporates the latest amplifier design, which exhibits very high efficiency, thus reducing the size of the internal batteries and hence overall system weight. In-built top hat allows mounting on speaker stands.
Base Model C 7152A: The backbone of the system is the amplifier module and battery power supply. This consists of two wired microphone inputs suitable for XLR or 6.5mm jack, both with volume and tone control. Separate master volume and treble and bass controls are provided for tailoring the sound of other modules when fitted. The battery charger / power supply will power the unit when away from 240V mains source. It will provide usable power for 6 to 8 hours.
